What CobblemonsOCE collects, why, and who else handles it. We collect what the server needs to run and nothing to sell.
What we collect
- When you play: your Minecraft username and UUID, your IP address, when you were on, your game progress (money, land, Pokémon, items), and chat and command logs. Chat means public chat, town chat and private messages.
- In our Discord: what you write there, with your Discord user ID.
- When you link Discord: your Discord user ID, so your rank shows there.
- When you buy: what was bought, for which Minecraft account, the amount and the time. CraftingStore and its payment providers hold the payment details and any email address you give them. We never see card numbers.
- On this website: nothing of ours. The site runs no scripts, sets no cookies and has no analytics. The store is run by CraftingStore, which uses cookies to remember your basket and the Minecraft name you entered. Cloudflare serves both and keeps ordinary request logs.
Why
- To run the game and keep your progress.
- To deliver purchases, and to take them back after a chargeback.
- To moderate: enforce the rules, investigate reports, and keep banned players out. IP addresses are used for this and for security.
- To see what players want and what isn't working. We read chat for this.
Who else handles it
- CraftingStore runs the store; Stripe and PayPal take payments.
- Cloudflare serves the website and the store.
- Discord, if you join or link it.
- Mojang / Microsoft sign you in to Minecraft.
Each has its own privacy policy. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long
Game data is kept while the server runs. Chat, in game and on Discord, is kept for 90 days. Ban and purchase records are kept as long as they are needed to enforce a ban or answer a payment dispute.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us from an address we can match to your account, or open a ticket in Discord. We may keep ban and purchase records where we need them. This is covered by the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Under 18
A parent or guardian can make any of those requests for their child.
